Waiver
Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement
The volunteer agrees that their participation in any Disc Golf Pro Tour event is voluntary and issues this waiver and hold harmless agreement to the benefit of the Disc Golf Pro Tour and the entities responsible for organizing and holding this event (herein, the Local Organizing Committee or LOC).
The volunteer hereby warrants to the Disc Golf Pro Tour that they are physically fit and capable of participating in the event without undue risk. The volunteer understands and agrees that the Disc Golf Pro Tour maintains the right to deny the volunteer’s participation in Disc Golf Pro Tour events if the Tour deems in its absolute discretion that volunteer’s participation would risk loss or damage to any property.
Furthermore, the volunteer agrees to assume any risk associated with participating in the event, and waives and releases the Disc Golf Pro Tour, the LOC, and the Tournament Sponsor(s), from any and all claims of loss or damage that may arise during the volunteer's participation. Such waivers and releases are without limitation and include personal injury, property damage, and any other losses or damages suffered by the volunteer, including the right to recover attorneys fees.
The volunteer agrees to hold Disc Golf Pro Tour and the LOC harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage, including damage to Disc Golf Pro Tour property caused by the actions or harmful inactions of the volunteer.
Acknowledgment
The volunteer agrees that this waiver shall remain in full force and effect without modification and that participation in Disc Golf Pro Tour events is pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
